What you'll be doing
- Completing thorough eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and extended service examinations for patients
- Working alongside the Dispensing Optician Manager to support colleagues with training, coaching, and maintaining departmental standards
- Delivering a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions through extended NHS service contracts
- Optional supervision of students to support the next generation of optical professionals while enhancing your own development
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- A registered performer with your NHS area team or health board
- MECS or WECs accredited, or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months with full funding and support provided
- On track to meet statutory points requirements for CPD
- Passionate about delivering a memorable customer experience and developing new patient services
- Evidence of Right to Work in the UK
