Responsibilities of this Optometrist - Part Time position

Conduct eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and extended service examinations.
Support colleagues through training, coaching, and maintaining departmental standards.
Deliver a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions.
Contribute to developing new patient services and shaping the department's culture.
Provide a memorable customer experience through clinical skills and passion.

Requirements for this Optometrist - Part Time position

Be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
Be a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board.
Hold MECs or WECs accreditation, or be willing to gain accreditation within 12 months (funded and supported).
Be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Possess evidence of the Right To Work in the UK.
Provide evidence of being on the NHS performer list for the nation you wish to work in.
Supply two clinical references.
For roles in Wales, provide evidence of WECS accreditation & WGOS module accreditation.
