Your typical day will involve completing comprehensive eye examinations, including contact lens and extended service examinations. You will collaborate closely with the Dispensing Optician Manager, providing training and coaching to colleagues and ensuring all departmental standards are maintained.
This role is committed to delivering a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions, supported by extended service contracts with the NHS. You will be fully supported to gain any additional accreditations needed to deliver these services.
We are passionate about providing our Optometrists with extensive training to enhance their skills. This includes a fantastic CPD programme and protected time for further accreditations, funded by the practice. This ensures you have the full training package to meet evolving eye care needs.
An optional opportunity for GOC registered professionals is to supervise students, a rewarding way to support the next generation of optical professionals while enhancing your own development.
