Responsibilities for this Optometrist position

• Screen patients and provide high-quality eye care.
• Coach and train members of the optical team.
• Maintain departmental standards and contribute to operational excellence.
• Develop and implement new patient services.
• Collaborate with the Optical Manager to create a positive customer experience.

Requirements for this Optometrist position

• Be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC.
• Be a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board.
• MECs or WECs accreditation, or willingness to gain accreditation within 12 months.
• Be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD.
• Demonstrate a passion for delivering memorable customer experiences.
• Be enthusiastic about developing new patient services and shaping departmental culture.
