We are recruiting an experienced Practice Manager to lead a friendly, community-focused independent practice, working full-time hours including alternate weekends. This position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per year, joining a collaborative team where you can deliver patient-first care without sales targets or rushed appointments.
What you'll be doing
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the practice and ensuring smooth daily routines
- Supporting patients with queries, concerns, and building trusted relationships
- Helping the team resolve any dispensing-related issues using your optical knowledge
- Contributing to the general upkeep and organisation of the practice
- Providing leadership and engagement for the close-knit team to deliver a stellar service
What we're looking for
- Previous experience working in an optical setting is required
- Qualified Dispensing Opticians or experienced Optical Assistants will be considered
- Warmth, care, and expertise in every patient interaction
- A passion for people and strong technical management skills
