An independent practice in Waterloo is recruiting an Optometrist for a part-time contract of 3 or 2.5 days a week, offering £55,000 to £60,000 pro rata alongside 30-minute appointment times and a welcoming, patient-first environment.
What you'll be doing
- Carry out thorough eye examinations and provide tailored solutions that align with each patient's lifestyle and needs
- Work within GOC guidelines to deliver expert care without feeling rushed
- Support the team by resolving clinical or technical queries and collaborating closely to ensure a smooth patient journey
- Liaise with external professionals, maintain practice equipment, and contribute your knowledge to the success of the practice
What we're looking for
- GOC registration as an optometrist (newly qualified or experienced applicants are both welcome)
- A commitment to clinical excellence and building trust with patients from a variety of backgrounds
- Availability to work some Saturdays (either a full day or a half day)
