We are currently recruiting for Optometrist jobs in Poole, offering a full-time or part-time position working 4 days a week with a competitive salary of £57,000 to £60,000. Based in a welcoming coastal community, this independent practice provides the clinical freedom, time, and advanced equipment needed to solve problems and genuinely help people without hollow targets.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct thorough, personalised eye examinations with 40-minute test times to ensure continuity of care for loyal, returning patients
- Deliver specialist services, including colorimetry assessments to improve reading and visual comfort using custom-tinted overlays and lenses
- Utilise advanced testing equipment in a dedicated pre-screen area featuring OCT and Optomap technology across 2 consulting rooms
- Work collaboratively alongside an experienced team that includes two dispensing opticians
What we're looking for
- A GOC-registered Optometrist committed to the highest standards of eye health and patient care
- Willingness to work as part of a dynamic team in a community-focused independent practice
- Availability to work some Saturdays, with standard practice hours operating Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and Saturdays from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
