We are looking for a friendly and caring Optical Assistant for a community-centred independent practice in Stalybridge, offering part-time and full-time hours at £12.71 per hour with no prior experience required.
What you'll be doing
- Help patients choose frames and lenses suited to their lifestyle and visual needs
- Assist with fittings, adjustments, and aftercare
- Support more complex prescriptions with guidance from the wider team
- Keep displays, equipment, and consulting rooms tidy and professional
- Be a friendly, reliable point of contact for patients and colleagues
