An independent practice in Killarney has a new opening for full-time Optical Assistant jobs, offering EUR €27,592.00 to €29,500.00 per annum within a friendly team of ten.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting patients with frame styling, lens choices, fittings, adjustments, and aftercare
- Offering tailored product knowledge based on individual visual and lifestyle needs
- Helping manage more complex prescriptions with support from the wider team
- Assisting with day-to-day practice tasks and maintaining displays and equipment
- Utilising modern technology including OCT and Myah to support clinical care
- Acting as a friendly, reliable point of contact for patients and colleagues
What we're looking for
- Previous experience working in optics, or a strong interest in people, retail, and fashion
- A genuine interest in people with an eye for detail and a caring, can-do attitude
- Ability to build trust with patients and offer honest, expert advice
- Saturdays on rotation as part of the working pattern
Salary and benefits
- EUR €27,592.00 – €29,500.00 annual salary
- Full-time contract, working between 9am and 6pm
