We are looking for a dedicated team member to fill one of the latest Optical Assistant jobs in Cardiff, offering a full or part time contract with no Sunday or bank holiday working. Join a well-established independent practice known for its shared care services, low vision clinics, and specialist contact lens fittings including myopia management.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering outstanding, empathetic patient care and helping customers find the perfect frames from a range of amazing brands
- Driving the practice service offering forward, looking for opportunities to improve and innovate
- Spending the time needed to understand patients' visual needs and educating the local community on independent eye care
- Undertaking occasional travel to Newport as required as part of your role
What we're looking for
- A natural interest in fashion, science, and daily customer interaction
- A high level of customer service experience, with an optical background preferred though not essential
- A friendly, informative communication style and dedication to putting patients first
- Availability to work some Saturdays alongside the rest of our supportive and friendly team
