What does this Telemedicine Optometrist role involve?

As a Telemedicine Optometrist, your primary duty will be to communicate with and treat patients remotely. You will play a crucial role in the delivery of a diverse range of clinical eye care services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Communicating with and treating patients via telemedicine.
Reviewing incoming referrals from optometrists, GPs, and other primary care routes as part of the referral triage team.
Allocating referred patients to the most appropriate ophthalmology clinic.
Providing clinical support to the administrative team where required.
Working alongside operations and clinical leads to identify areas for service delivery improvements.
