We are currently recruiting candidates for full time, permanent Dispensing Optician jobs in Headingley and across the Yorkshire region, offering a £32,000 starting salary plus a £3k car allowance. This mobile support position covers practices in Garforth, Harrogate, Headingley, Huddersfield, Knaresborough, Ossett, Wakefield, Yeadon, and York for holiday, sickness, and recruitment needs.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering exceptional customer service throughout a structured client journey, from the initial welcome through to the final recommendation
- Spending quality time with clients during extended appointments to fully understand their individual lifestyle and visual needs
- Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting spectacles using advanced frames, lenses, and technological products
- Teaching and supporting clients with contact lens application and removal
- Travelling between various practice locations across Yorkshire as required by the business
What we're looking for
- GOC registration as a fully qualified professional
- FBDO or FdSc Dispensing Optician qualification
- Demonstrated prior experience in a dispensing role
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car
Salary and benefits
- £32,000 per annum

- Full time, permanent contract for 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm)
