We are delighted to offer a permanent full-time Optical Assistant job in Market Harborough, paying £13.11 per hour with a supportive and friendly team. This established independent practice has been serving the local community for over 60 years, providing a comprehensive range of private and NHS services including sight tests, contact lenses, and designer frames.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering a friendly, informative, and empathetic service to every patient who walks through the door
- Taking the time to understand patients' visual needs and helping them choose from an extensive selection of frames, including brands like Ray-Ban, Tom Ford, and Gotti
- Driving the practice service offering forward by looking for opportunities to improve and innovate
- Educating the local community about the benefits of independent eye care
- Working a schedule that includes some Saturdays, with no Sunday or bank holiday working
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience required
- A natural interest in fashion, science, and interacting with new people daily
- A strong dedication to putting patients first
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a positive ambassador for the profession
