We are recruiting an Optical Assistant for a community-focused independent practice based in London, offering a full-time permanent contract and a salary of £26,000 to £28,000. What you'll be doing
- Guiding patients through frame and lens choices, offering expert advice and ensuring accurate, comfortable fits
- Helping to create a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient in a practice with one consulting room and a tight-knit team of four
- Working with a curated frame selection that includes Cutler & Gross, Oliver Peoples, Kirk & Kirk, Gigi Studios, Woody’s, Eco, Rayban, Woow, and Stepper
- Having direct input into stock selection and styling displays
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an optical practice
- Strong people skills and the ability to build trust with patients
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to pitch in with the rest of the team
- Availability to work Saturdays
Salary and benefits
- £26,000 to £28,000 per annum
- Full-time hours (includes Saturday working, with no Sunday or bank holiday working)
