We are recruiting an experienced Dispensing Optician jobs Wallingford (Oxford) candidate for a permanent role split across our practices in Thame and Wallingford, working part-time on a flexible four-week rotating schedule with a salary of £24,704 pro rata per annum (equivalent to £32,000 per annum FTE). This position offers a supportive independent environment where you can spend dedicated time with clients using the latest diagnostic equipment and technology.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering exceptional service across every stage of the client journey from welcome to handover
- Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting spectacles to suit individual client lifestyles and visual needs
- Teaching clients how to handle and use contact lenses with confidence
- Working closely with the wider practice team to ensure smooth daily operations and personalised client care
What we're looking for
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- FBDO qualification
- Demonstrated experience working in a dispensing role
- Full UK clean driving licence and access to a car for travel between locations
