We are recruiting a Dispensing Optician jobs Thame vacancy covering a rota pattern across a four-week cycle, offering a pro-rata salary of £24,704 per annum (equivalent to £32,000 per annum FTE). This position splits time between practices in Thame and Wallingford, working alongside a supportive team dedicated to delivering thorough, unhurried eye care.
What you'll be doing
- Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting spectacles to suit individual client lifestyles
- Teaching clients how to use and care for contact lenses
- Guiding clients through every stage of their practice journey, ensuring a high standard of personal service
- Collaborating with colleagues across the practice to match clients with the latest frame fashions and lens technology
- Working across varying weekly rotas between the Thame and Wallingford locations, operating Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm
What we're looking for
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Hold the FBDO qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a dispensing optician role
- Full UK clean driving licence and access to a car
