We are recruiting an experienced Dispensing Optician jobs opening in Sidcup, offering a salary circa £35k per annum for a part time permanent role for 3 days / 24 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday & Saturday 9am – 5:30pm). This independent practice provides generous 45-minute client testing times, allowing you the time to really understand patient needs and lifestyles using the latest diagnostic equipment, lens technology, and frames.
What you'll be doing
- Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting spectacles
- Teaching clients how to use contact lenses
- Delivering exceptional service across every step of the client journey
- Working closely with team members to find the best lifestyle solutions for patients
- Putting clients at the forefront of their time in the practice
What we're looking for
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Hold the FBDO qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a dispensing optician role
- Passion for delivering exceptional service as part of a close-knit team
