We are looking for an experienced Dispensing Optician to join our practice in Harrogate, offering 5 days / 40 hours per week with a competitive salary. This permanent position covers a Monday to Saturday rota from 9am to 5:30pm, with either a Thursday or Friday off during the week.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the client journey
- Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting spectacles to suit individual client lifestyles
- Teaching clients how to use and care for contact lenses
- Working closely with the rest of the practice team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Utilizing modern equipment and a wide selection of frames and lenses to find the best solutions for each patient
What we're looking for
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Hold the FBDO qualification
- Previous experience working as a dispensing optician
- A passion for patient care and building strong local relationships
