An opportunity has arisen for professionals seeking Dispensing Optician jobs Barrow upon Soar, offering a permanent position working 5 days / 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5:30pm) with a salary of up to £34k per annum. This independent practice is looking for an experienced practitioner to split time across the Barrow upon Soar and Quorn locations, delivering high standards of client care with extended appointment times.
What you'll be doing
- Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting spectacles to suit individual client lifestyles
- Teaching clients how to use contact lenses and guiding them through a structured client journey
- Working closely with team members to ensure the practice runs smoothly and provides tailored optical solutions
- Utilizing the latest diagnostic equipment, technological advances in lenses and frames, and current fashions
What we're looking for
- Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Hold the FBDO qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- A full UK driving licence and car to cover the Barrow upon Soar and Quorn practices
