We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join a leading provider of domiciliary eye care serving Twickenham and the surrounding areas on a flexible 4 or 5-day week contract. This permanent position offers a market-leading salary of up to £64,000 per annum** and comes with a fully expensed company car for both business and personal use.
What you'll be doing
- Visit around six to seven patients a day in their own homes, helping those who struggle to access the high street unaided
- Conduct longer, one-hour appointments that allow you to build strong relationships and deliver high standards of care
- Use modern mobile equipment, including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and a digital records system
- Make autonomous clinical decisions while having access to a senior optometrist team for support and second opinions within minutes
- Complete complete and paperless records using industry-leading software
What we're looking for
- A fully qualified and registered Optometrist with the GOC
- Passion for delivering clinically excellent eye care to vulnerable or housebound patients
- A driver with a full UK driving licence
- Someone who values longer testing times and a personalised approach to patient care
Salary and benefits
- Salary of up to £64,000 per annum, depending on experience
