We are currently recruiting for an Optometrist job in London, offering a market-leading salary of up to £64,000 per annum and a flexible 4 or 5-day working week with no weekends. Join a dedicated team delivering essential domiciliary care to patients in their own homes, ensuring high-standard eye care is accessible to those who cannot visit the high street unaided.
What you'll be doing
- Visit approximately 6 to 7 patients a day in their own homes, providing longer one-hour appointments to build relationships and deliver thorough care.
- Make autonomous clinical decisions, supported by a senior optometrist team at head office for second opinions and guidance when needed.
- Utilise modern mobile equipment, including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and a paperless digital records system.
- Complete comprehensive training and receive a full equipment kit to ensure you feel fully confident before working independently.
What we're looking for
- A fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC.
- Passion for delivering clinically excellent, patient-centred care outside of a traditional high-street setting.
- A full UK driving licence, as travel between appointments is required.
