An exciting opportunity has opened for an Optometrist jobs Ipswich search, offering a flexible 3-5 days per week schedule with £450 per day and weekends off.
This domiciliary role covers Ipswich and surrounding areas across the East of England, bringing clinically excellent eye care directly to patients in their own homes.
What you'll be doing
- Visit 6 to 8 patients per day in their own homes, supporting those who cannot reach the high street unaided.
- Conduct thorough appointments lasting a full hour, giving you time to build relationships and deliver gold-standard care.
- Make autonomous clinical decisions while having fast access to senior support and second opinions from head office.
- Use state-of-the-art mobile equipment including a portable slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and digital records system.
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified GOC registered Optometrist.
- Your own ophthalmoscope and retinoscope in good working order.
- A passion for domiciliary care and patient wellbeing.
- Willingness to travel across a regional patch of up to 50 miles from your home postcode, with appointments clustered locally each day.
