We are looking for a dedicated Optometrist for 4 or 5 days a week (No weekends) to deliver professional eye care in Skegness and surrounding areas, offering a market-leading salary of up to £64,000 per annum. What you'll be doing
- Visit approximately 6 to 7 patients a day in their own homes, helping those who struggle to access the high street unaided
- Conduct longer, 1-hour appointments that give you the time to build meaningful relationships and deliver high standards of care
- Make autonomous clinical decisions while having quick access to support and second opinions from a senior optometrist team
- Use modern mobile equipment, including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and a paperless digital records system
- Complete regular CPD and receive backing for College of Optometrists Higher Qualifications in their Professional Certificates programme
What we're looking for
- GOC registration as a qualified Optometrist
- A passion for delivering clinically excellent eye care outside of a traditional practice setting
- A patient-focused approach with strong communication skills
- A valid UK driving licence for travel between appointments
Salary and benefits
