We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our team providing home-visiting eye care, with 4 or 5 days a week available and no weekend work required. This is an exciting opportunity to secure Optometrist jobs in Cardigan, offering a market-leading salary of up to £64,000 per annum and a fully expensed company car for both business and personal use.
What you'll be doing
- Visit around 6 to 7 patients a day in their own homes, helping those who struggle to access the high street unaided
- Conduct longer, 1-hour appointments that allow you to build genuine relationships and deliver thorough care
- Make autonomous clinical decisions while having fast access to support and second opinions from a senior team
- Use modern portable equipment including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and paperless digital records
What we're looking for
- A fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
- Passion for delivering clinically excellent eye care and making a real difference to patients' lives
- A proactive approach to independent working combined with strong communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
Salary and benefits
- Salary of up to £64,000 per year, depending on experience
