We are looking for a qualified Optometrist to join our team providing mobile eye care across Swansea, offering four or five days a week with no weekends and a salary of up to £64,000 per annum. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to step away from the high street and deliver high-standard clinical care directly to patients in their own homes.
What you'll be doing
- Visit around six to seven patients a day in their own homes across the local area
- Conduct thorough, unhurried appointments lasting one hour, allowing time to build genuine rapport
- Use modern portable equipment including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, and I-care tonometer
- Record all clinical notes on a digital system, completely eliminating paperwork
- Make autonomous clinical decisions with quick remote support from a senior team whenever needed
What we're looking for
- A fully qualified, registered Optometrist with the GOC
- Passion for delivering accessible eye care to vulnerable or housebound patients
- A caring, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- A full UK driving licence, as travel is a core part of the role
Salary and benefits
