We are looking for a dedicated clinician for an Optometrist job in Peterborough, offering a salary of up to £64,000 per annum and working 4 or 5 days a week with no weekends. This is an opportunity to join a growing team providing essential home-based eye care across the region.
What you'll be doing
- Visit around six to seven patients each day in their own homes, delivering clinically excellent eye care.
- Conduct thorough appointments lasting up to one hour, allowing time to build relationships and provide unhurried care.
- Make autonomous clinical decisions while having access to rapid support and second opinions from the senior team at head office.
- Use modern mobile equipment, including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and paperless digital records.
- Support patients who struggle to access high street practices unaided.
What we're looking for
- A fully qualified GOC-registered Optometrist.
- Passion for delivering patient-centred, high-quality eye care outside of a traditional practice setting.
- A full driving licence to travel to appointments in Peterborough and surrounding areas.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and patient wellbeing.
Salary and benefits
