We are looking for a dedicated clinician to join our mobile care team across Lincolnshire, helping patients who struggle to reach the high street unaided. You will deliver clinically excellent eye care in people's homes, supported by modern portable equipment and a dedicated support network.
What you'll be doing
- Visit approximately 6 to 7 patients a day in their own homes, providing thorough and compassionate care
- Conduct longer-than-average one-hour appointments, allowing time to build genuine rapport and deliver thorough eye examinations
- Make autonomous clinical decisions while having quick access to a senior optometrist team for support or a second opinion
- Use a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and paperless digital records system
- Complete fully expensed visits using your provided company car
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified and registered GOC-registered Optometrist
- Passionate about delivering accessible, high-quality eye care to vulnerable or housebound patients
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centred approach
- A full UK driving licence
Salary and benefits
- Up to £64,000 per annum, depending on experience
