What you'll be doing
This domiciliary role focuses on providing clinical eye care to patients in their own homes who cannot easily visit a traditional practice. You will enjoy longer appointment times that allow you to focus entirely on patient wellbeing rather than high-volume testing.
- Visit patients in their homes across Exeter and the surrounding region
- See approximately 6 to 8 patients per day with 1-hour appointment slots
- Make autonomous clinical decisions using advanced mobile diagnostic equipment
- Maintain digital records with no paperwork required
- Consult with a supportive senior team at head office for quick second opinions
What we're looking for
We are seeking a dedicated clinician who wants to make a genuine difference in the community while developing their professional skills.
- GOC registered Optometrist
- Strong clinical background with a passion for domiciliary care
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
- Full UK driving licence for travel between appointments
