What you'll be doing
- Visit six to seven patients a day in their own homes, delivering gold-standard clinical care
- Conduct thorough appointments lasting one hour, giving you time to build relationships and make autonomous decisions
- Use the latest mobile technology, including a mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and paperless digital records
- Work closely within your local area, seeing a cluster of patients with short drives between visits
- Connect with senior clinicians at head office for support or a second opinion whenever needed
What we're looking for
- A fully qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist
- A genuine passion for delivering clinically excellent eye care to vulnerable patients
- Comfort with occasional travel of up to 50 miles from your home postcode
- Willingness to undergo comprehensive training on portable equipment kits
