An experienced Optometrist job in Kent is currently available, offering a mobile role covering Dartford and the surrounding area on a 4 or 5-day working week with no weekends. What you'll be doing
- Visit approximately 6 to 7 patients every day in their own homes, helping those who struggle to access the high street unaided
- Conduct longer-than-average one-hour appointments, allowing time to build relationships and deliver high standards of care
- Make autonomous clinical decisions while having access to fast support and second opinions from the senior clinical team at head office
- Use modern portable equipment, including a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and a digital records system
What we're looking for
- A fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council
- Passion for delivering patient-centred, accessible eye care within the community
- A full UK driving licence for business and personal use of the provided company car
- Dedication to maintaining high clinical standards and a willingness to learn new domiciliary testing processes
