What you'll be doing
- Delivering exceptional customer service to every patient who walks through the doors
- Dispensing spectacles and helping patients choose frames that suit their prescription and lifestyle
- Conducting pre-screening tests, including autorefraction, tonometry and visual fields
- Fitting, adjusting and repairing eyewear to ensure a comfortable and precise fit
- Managing bookings, answering telephone enquiries and handling general practice administration
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or healthcare environment is preferred, though full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills and a confident, friendly telephone manner
- Good attention to detail and comfortable working with numbers and technology
- A collaborative team player who can also work well independently during busy periods
