We are currently recruiting for an experienced Optometrist jobs Gloucester seeker to join a modern practice on a permanent, full-time basis of 38.75 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while working with well-equipped testing rooms and a supportive support team.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting thorough, professional eye examinations and sight tests
- Dispensing spectacles and fitting contact lenses to suit individual patient needs
- Providing expert clinical advice and recommending appropriate optical solutions
- Identifying eye health conditions and making timely referrals when necessary
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic systems
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified and GOC-registered Optometrist
- Therapeutic prescribing qualification is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication skills with a patient-focused, empathetic approach
- Attention to detail and commitment to high clinical standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a busy team
