What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers to the practice and helping them navigate the store
- Guiding patients through frame selection, facial measurements, and styling advice to suit their lifestyle and prescription
- Dispensing single vision lenses and assisting with basic adjustments and repairs
- Booking appointments, managing diary schedules, and handling reception enquiries with a warm, professional manner
- Supporting optometrists and dispensing opticians with pre-screening tests, contact lens teaches, and general clinic flow
- Maintaining high standards of merchandising, cleanliness, and presentation across the sales floor
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service, retail, or healthcare environment is an advantage, though full training is provided
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic approach to customer care
