What you'll be doing
- Greeting patients warmly as they arrive in the practice and booking them in for appointments
- Dispensing spectacles, adjusting frames, and carrying out minor repairs
- Pre-screening patients using automated equipment before their eye examinations
- Explaining lens options, coatings, and sunglasses to help patients make informed choices
- Managing enquiries over the phone and via email with efficiency and care
- Keeping the dispenses floor clean, tidy, and fully stocked with the latest frame ranges
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a retail, customer service, or optical environment is advantageous, though full training is provided
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable telephone manner
- A keen eye for detail and styling to help patients find the right frames
- The ability to work well as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy for booking systems and patient records
