What you'll be doing
- Delivering exceptional customer service to every patient who walks through the doors
- Dispensing spectacles and helping customers select frames that suit their prescription and lifestyle
- Conducting pre-screening tests, including visual acuity and pressure checks
- Fitting, adjusting and repairing eyewear to ensure a comfortable and precise fit
- Managing bookings, handling enquiries and supporting the wider practice team with daily administrative tasks
What we're looking for
- Previous experience within a customer-facing or retail environment, ideally within optics
- Strong communication skills and a confident, friendly telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- The ability to work well as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for helping people and delivering high standards of care
