What you'll be doing
- Welcoming patients to the practice and guiding them through their visit
- Dispensing spectacles, taking accurate measurements, and adjusting frames to ensure a comfortable fit
- Conducting pre-screening tests including fields, autorefraction, and tonometry
- Helping customers choose frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle, prescription, and budget
- Managing booked appointments, answering telephone enquiries, and handling general reception duties
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness across the practice floor and dispensary
What we're looking for
- Previous customer service or retail experience, ideally within an optical or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills and a confident, friendly telephone manner
- Good attention to detail and comfortable working with numbers and technical equipment
- A proactive attitude to learning new skills and developing product knowledge
