What you'll be doing
- Delivering a high standard of customer service to every patient who visits the practice
- Dispensing spectacles and helping customers select frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle and prescription needs
- Undertaking pre-screening duties, including autorefraction and visual field testing
- Adjusting, repairing, and fitting glasses to ensure a comfortable and accurate fit
- Booking appointments and managing general reception duties to keep the practice running smoothly
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in customer service or a retail environment, ideally within optics
- Excellent communication skills and a confident, friendly telephone manner
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A proactive approach to learning new skills and developing product knowledge
Salary and benefits
- £11.44 to £12.00 per hour, depending on experience
