What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers into the practice and helping them feel at ease from the moment they arrive
- Dispensing spectacles and guiding patients through frame and lens options to suit their lifestyle and prescription needs
- Undertaking pre-screening duties, including autorefraction, visual fields testing, and tonometry
- Adjusting, repairing, and fitting frames to ensure a comfortable and precise fit
- Managing bookings, answering telephone enquiries, and supporting day-to-day administrative tasks in the practice
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment, ideally within optics
- A confident, friendly communication style and a genuine passion for helping people
- Good attention to detail and comfortable working with digital systems and technology
- A reliable team player who is happy to support colleagues across different areas of the practice when needed
