We are currently recruiting for 38.75 hours per week on a permanent contract for Practice Manager jobs, offering a hands-on leadership opportunity in a well-established practice based in Scunthorpe. This is an ideal position for an experienced retail professional looking to lead a dedicated team while delivering exceptional clinical and customer service standards.
What you'll be doing
- Lead, coach and develop the in-store team to achieve commercial targets and deliver outstanding patient care
- Manage day-to-day practice operations, including rota planning, stock control and compliance with health and safety standards
- Drive sales performance through effective merchandising, local marketing initiatives and professional customer service
- Handle patient queries, resolve complaints professionally and ensure smooth operations across the testing rooms and dispensing floor
- Collaborate with optometrists and dispensing opticians to maintain a seamless patient journey from arrival to collection
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in retail management, practice management or team leadership within the optical sector or a customer-focused retail environment
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and strong organisational skills
