We are currently supporting a permanent Dispensing Optician vacancy in Luton, offering 38.75 hours per week. What you'll be doing
- Dispensing spectacles and lenses to a high standard, catering to diverse patient prescriptions and lifestyle needs
- Providing expert advice on frame selection, lens coatings, and optical products
- Undertaking frame adjustments, repairs, and ensuring correct fitting for all customers
- Working collaboratively with optometrists, practice managers, and optical assistants to deliver a smooth patient journey
- Maintaining accurate clinical and administrative records in line with professional standards
- Supporting the wider team to hit practice targets and uphold exceptional customer service standards
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Dispensing Optician with no restrictions on practice
- Strong commercial awareness and a passion for finding the right optical solutions for patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport easily
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and a willingness to help out across all areas of the practice
