What you'll be doing
- Delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every patient who walks through the doors
- Dispensing spectacles and helping customers select frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle and prescription needs
- Carrying out pre-screening tests, including autorefraction and visual field checks
- Booking appointments and managing diary schedules efficiently over the phone and in person
- Adjusting, repairing, and dispensing glasses to ensure a comfortable and accurate fit
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-stocked practice floor
What we're looking for
- Previous retail, customer service, or optical experience is welcome, though full training is provided
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and technology
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a close-knit team
- Willingness to learn about eye care products, lens types, and basic optical dispensing
