What you'll be doing
- Conducting thorough, professional eye examinations and sight tests
- Dispensing spectacles and recommending the best optical solutions to suit individual customer needs
- Using advanced clinical equipment to screen for and detect ocular abnormalities
- Building strong, trust-based relationships with patients to ensure repeat visits and high satisfaction
- Collaborating closely with dispensing opticians and practice support colleagues to maintain a smooth daily workflow
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date patient records and clinical notes in line with professional standards
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Optometrist with a current licence to practice
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and patient-centred care
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex clinical information simply
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to developing the practice
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team
