What you'll be doing
- Providing a warm, professional welcome to every customer who walks through the practice doors
- Delivering expert frame styling and fitting advice to help patients find the right eyewear
- Conducting initial pre-screening tests, including autorefraction and visual acuity checks
- Dispensing a wide range of lenses and spectacles suited to individual prescriptions
- Managing appointments, handling customer enquiries, and processing payments with care and accuracy
- Maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and presentable sales floor at all times
What we're looking for
- Previous customer service or retail experience, ideally within a healthcare or optical setting
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and technology
- A proactive team player who is comfortable supporting colleagues across the practice
- Willingness to commit to a temporary fixed-term schedule
