What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive eye tests and sight screenings for a diverse local patient base
- Recommending the best optical products and lenses tailored to individual lifestyle needs
- Fitting and dispensing spectacles, ensuring accurate adjustments and comfortable wear
- Identifying underlying eye conditions and health issues, making timely referrals when necessary
- Maintaining clear, accurate clinical records using modern practice systems
- Collaborating with colleagues across the store to ensure a smooth, welcoming patient journey
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Optometrist with full UK practice eligibility
- Valid performer list number
- Strong clinical judgement and a genuine passion for patient care
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex findings clearly
- A collaborative team player who works well in a busy retail environment
Salary and benefits
- Competitive salary of £40,000 to £60,000 per annum depending on experience
