What you'll be doing
- Delivering a warm, professional welcome to every customer who walks into the practice
- Conducting pre-screening tests, including OCT scans and visual fields, with accuracy and care
- Dispensing glasses and frames tailored to individual prescription and lifestyle needs, guiding customers through lens options and coatings
- Adjusting, repairing, and fitting eyewear to ensure a comfortable and precise fit
- Managing appointment bookings, answering telephone enquiries, and handling general reception duties
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness throughout the display and testing areas
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service, retail, or optical environment is desirable, though full training is provided
- Excellent communication skills with a natural flair for helping people
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to multitask in a busy retail environment
- A team player attitude who is happy to support colleagues across different tasks throughout the day
