What you'll be doing
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure a smooth, efficient patient journey from arrival to collection
- Leading, coaching and developing the team to achieve sales targets, professional standards and customer service goals
- Overseeing stock control, merchandising, and overall store presentation to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for every visitor
- Resolving customer queries promptly and professionally, upholding the reputation of the practice at all times
- Collaborating with optometrists and clinical staff to ensure seamless coordination between clinical and retail operations
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in retail management, store leadership or assistant management, ideally within optics or a similar customer-focused healthcare environment
- Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to motivate, inspire and support a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Commercial awareness and a track record of driving performance and operational targets
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy retail setting
