What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers warmly to the practice and helping them feel at ease from the moment they arrive
- Dispensing spectacles and helping patients choose frames that suit their style, prescription and budget
- Adjusting, repairing and fitting glasses to ensure a comfortable and precise fit
- Carrying out pre-screening tests, including OCT scans and visual fields, using modern diagnostic equipment
- Booking appointments, managing diary schedules and handling general administrative enquiries over the phone and in person
What we're looking for
- Previous experience working in customer service, retail or a healthcare environment, though full training is provided for the right person
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner when dealing with the public
- A strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to handling sensitive patient data
- The ability to work well as part of a close-knit team and support your colleagues during busy periods
