We are looking for a dedicated professional to take on an Optometrist jobs Amesbury opportunity, combining clinical excellence with store leadership in this Wiltshire location. This permanent position involves 38.75 hours per week in a well-established community practice equipped with modern diagnostic tech, including OCT.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering thorough, patient-focused eye examinations and accurate sight tests
- Dispensing spectacles and fitting contact lenses to suit individual lifestyle needs
- Recommending appropriate clinical pathways, advanced testing, and optical products
- Leading, coaching, and developing the in-store team to maintain high service standards
- Managing day-to-day practice operations, patient flow, and clinical governance
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Optometrist with full rights to work in the UK
- Therapeutics qualification or a willingness to work towards it is advantageous
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of driving sales and performance
- Exceptional communication skills and a passion for leading people
- Patient, empathetic approach with a high standard of clinical care
