What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers to the practice and helping them feel at ease from the moment they arrive
- Dispensing spectacles and lenses to suit individual prescription needs and personal styles
- Carrying out pre-screening tests, including OCT scans and visual fields checks, using modern equipment
- Adjusting, repairing and fitting frames to ensure a comfortable and precise fit
- Managing bookings, answering telephone enquiries and handling general reception duties
What we're looking for
- Previous customer service or retail experience, ideally within an optical environment
- Strong communication skills and a natural warmth when dealing with the public
- Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and technology
- A collaborative team player who is happy to support colleagues across all areas of the practice
