What you'll be doing
- Welcoming patients to the practice and managing appointments
- Dispensing spectacles and helping customers choose frames that suit their prescription and lifestyle
- Adjusting and repairing eyewear to ensure a comfortable fit
- Conducting pre-screening tests including OCT scans and visual fields
- Handling general administrative tasks, telephone enquiries, and till transactions
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in optics, customer service, or retail is beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Confidence in working with numbers and using computer systems
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of customer care
